SUMMARY:

Applicants must be familiar with the use of all standard equipment, such as calipers, micrometers and indicators.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma
• Experience with measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, indicators and measuring instruments.

REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Written and verbal communication skills
• Blueprint reading
• Understanding of GD& T required
