Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles (tractor-trailer) safely and efficiently.

• Transport materials/products to local and regional destinations.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.

• Load and unload freight using a forklift.

• Ensure cargo is properly secured and protected from damage.

• Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation (BOLs, ELD entries, etc.).

• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, or issues.

• Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations.

• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.

• Current DOT medical card.

• Forklift certification required.

• Clean driving record (MVR required).

• Minimum 1–2 years of Class A driving experience preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.

• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
