Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our healthcare team in Connecticut. The APRN will provide comprehensive and autonomous patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up across a variety of settings. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and support preventative care initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical examinations, take medical histories, and assess patient health status.

  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses within the APRN’s scope of practice.

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and imaging studies.

  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state laws and clinical guidelines.

  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices.

  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers as needed.

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.


Qualifications:

  • Current, active Connecticut APRN license.

  • Graduation from an accredited APRN program.

  • National certification in specialty area (e.g., FNP, PMHNP, AGNP, etc.).

  • Current DEA license and prescriptive authority in Connecticut.

  • BLS/ACLS certification (as applicable by specialty).

  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills.

  • Minimum of 2 years of APRN experience preferred.
