Position Summary:
A Connecticut-based manufacturer is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join its production team. The Assembly Technician will assemble lighting components and systems in a clean and safety-focused environment, supporting daily production goals and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Assemble lighting and electrical components including bases, filaments, and glass tubing according to work instructions, diagrams, and specifications.

Use hand tools and production machinery to complete assembly tasks accurately.

Inspect assembled parts and products for defects, functionality, and adherence to quality standards.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.

Document production activity and complete job-related paperwork as required.

Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency.

Follow all safety policies, quality control procedures, and manufacturing best practices.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

1 year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly role preferred.

Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with electrical components.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and read technical documentation.

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Skills:

Prior experience in electronics or lighting component assembly is a plus.

Comfortable working with small parts in a repetitive, hands-on environment.

Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
