Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our healthcare team in Connecticut. The APRN will provide comprehensive and autonomous patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up across a variety of settings. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and support preventative care initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform physical examinations, take medical histories, and assess patient health status.

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses within the APRN’s scope of practice.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and imaging studies.

Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state laws and clinical guidelines.

Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers as needed.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
Qualifications:

Current, active Connecticut APRN license.

Graduation from an accredited APRN program.

National certification in specialty area (e.g., FNP, PMHNP, AGNP, etc.).

Current DEA license and prescriptive authority in Connecticut.

BLS/ACLS certification (as applicable by specialty).

Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills.

Minimum of 2 years of APRN experience preferred.
