ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage affordable waiting list and vacancy/turnover
- Process MI’s, MO’s, IR’s, and Annual Recertification’s
- Collect receivable accounts (entering rent etc.) and handle operating expenses.
- Process HUD Special Claims
- Run and follow up on EIV Reports
- MOR prep Collecting and processing rents
- Commercial lease renewals
- Managing maintenance staff
- Process payroll for staff
- Legal responsibilities
REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Proven work experience as a Section 8 Property Manager
- Fully understand property management and its financial aspects
- In depth knowledge of rules/regulations surrounding Affordable Housing property management
- Competency in Yardi preferred
- Well organized with excellent time management skills
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
