SUMMARY:
This is a part-time position responsible for making and serving nutritious meals for students safely and healthfully.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and serve food according to menus and correct portion sizes as mandated by yield guides.
- Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, and mopping floors, cleaning equipment and work areas, dishwashing, and pot washing.
- Brew coffee, fill beverage machines, set up hot and/or cold food area.
- Must comply with all state, federal, local health departments for safe food handling.
- Must comply with all client location security protocols and guidelines.
- Check and store incoming supplies.
- Follow assigned break schedules.
- Collect and strip trays for dishwashing.
- Must have ability to speak and read English to understand and perform job assignments.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma.
- One year food service.
