Assistant Property Manager/HUD Compliance Coordinator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage affordable waiting list and vacancy/turnover
  • Process MI’s, MO’s, IR’s, and Annual Recertification’s
  • Collect receivable accounts (entering rent etc.) and handle operating expenses.
  • Process HUD Special Claims
  • Run and follow up on EIV Reports
  • MOR prep Collecting and processing rents
  • Commercial lease renewals
  • Managing maintenance staff
  • Process payroll for staff
  • Legal responsibilities

 

REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Proven work experience as a Section 8 Property Manager
  • Fully understand property management and its financial aspects
  • In depth knowledge of rules/regulations surrounding Affordable Housing property management
  • Competency in Yardi preferred
  • Well organized with excellent time management skills
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
